Our Story

Emily’s Attic of Galena grew from my love of decades past, history, and the feeling that beautiful things from the past still have something to say.

I’ve always considered myself a bit of an old soul. I’m drawn to vintage details, antique treasures, forgotten styles, and the charm of eras that seem to carry a little more mystery with them. There is something special about taking inspiration from the past and giving it a new life in the present.

Living in historic Galena, Illinois, only deepened that love. Surrounded by old buildings, winding streets, antiques, and stories that have lasted for generations, I found the perfect place for Emily’s Attic to take shape.

Each piece of jewelry is handcrafted individually, inspired by color, texture, nostalgia, and whatever little spark of the past happens to find its way into the design. Some pieces may feel romantic, eccentric, elegant, playful, or wonderfully unexpected—but each one is created to feel like something discovered rather than simply made.

And because I’ve always believed objects can hold stories, every Emily’s Attic treasure comes with its own whimsical tale. A small piece of an imaginary whimsical Attic, filled with peculiar happenings, forgotten treasures, and just enough magic to make you wonder what might really be possible.

My hope is to bring little pieces of the past into the present—creating jewelry that feels nostalgic without being old-fashioned, meaningful without being too serious, and entirely unique to the person who finds it.
